The Main Event
On Thursday, September 22, 2022, ASAP hosted a special 20th anniversary event & fundraiser to celebrate 20 years of making the after school hours count!
The event took place at Craft Hall Brewery and featured food & drink, special guests, and a basket raffle.
It was great to honor all of the partners who have helped us serve more than 95,000 youth since 2002. The theme was After School: We Build Futures. All proceeds support ASAP’s goal to increase the number of ASAP programs in Philadelphia public schools by 50%, serving an additional 1,000-2,000 kids by 2025.

ASAP 20th Anniversary Video
One of our favorite parts of the evening was sharing the premiere of ASAP’s 20th Anniversary video. This project was directed by long-time ASAP partner Steve Lanciano. It features past & present students, club leaders, partners, and city stakeholders. All speak to the vital importance of after school programs for children in Philadelphia.
We are excited to announce that the video is now available to stream. Be sure to share it with your networks to raise awareness of the need for safe enriching spaces after school. This is especially important as rates of violence continue to soar in the Philadelphia community.
