Over the past 20 years, people like you who support Philly youth have ensured that ASAP’s Scrabble clubs and league bring belonging, increased confidence, and new friendships for thousands of kids across Philadelphia.
According to our 2025-2026 data so far:
- 69% of surveyed ASAP Scrabble students scored high in Grit
- 78% scored high in Self-Efficacy (how much students believe they can succeed in achieving academic outcomes)
- 74% scored high in Sense of Belonging
Scrabble is more than just a word game. Scrabble clubs and citywide events led by trained caring adults give children a safe environment to grow, challenge themselves, and learn what they’re truly capable of.
