Volunteer Orientation

Please join us at ASAP's monthly Volunteer Orientation. At this session, new volunteers will learn more about ASAP and our different volunteer opportunities, meet other new volunteers,and fill out paperwork needed to complete required clearances to work with youth. All new club leaders are required to attend a New Club Leader Scrabble training with ASAP Scrabble. Grand Prix Free For All Tournament

Each Thursday until December 18th at 4:00 PM, ASAP Chess will be holding the Grand Prix Free for All Tournaments on ChessKid.com. Students in all clubs can earn points by participating in the Grand Prix Free for All Tournaments. ASAP Chess will distribute trophies to top teams and top players. PSSL Scrabble League Elementary/Middle School

From October through February, ASAP runs the Philadelphia Scholastic Scrabble League (PSSL), the competitive arm of ASAP Scrabble for students grades 3rd-12th.  The Scrabble League is open to Philadelphia public and charter schools. Middle School Grand Prix Match

The first Middle School Grand Prix Match is happening on Tuesday, November 17th! The Middle School Grand Prix match is for K-5 students to compete against other students. Participating in a Grand Prix match earns your team points towards the Grand Prix total. Email chess@phillyasap.org for more information.
