PECO/ASAP Checkmate Violence Chess Marathon

ASAP Chess is excited to announce that PECO/ASAP Checkmate Violence will be returning this year in person! On Saturday, May 14th and Sunday, May 15th at the USciences ARC (Atheletic Recreation Center) 43rd and Woodland Ave. The non rated sections will be on Saturday only while the rated sections will take place over both days.

There will be no vaccination requirement for this event. Our masking policy will be strictly enforced and all attendees to this event must wear a mask at all times.

ASAP Chess Coaches can compete in a non-rated 5 round (G/10) chess tournament to show their players that they still got it! Registration is Sunday 8:30-10:00 with matches starting at 10:30.

To register for this tournament, please submit a fully completed registration form by the end of day Tuesday, May 10th. Incomplete and late forms will not be accepted.
Saturday Check in: 8:30am-9:30am
Sunday Check in : 8:00am-9:00am
Late arrivals will be paired in round 2.
